Beowulf Revelations
The Forgotten Anglo-Saxon King
Launch day 15th May 2025 ~ Available to Pre-order
In the year 930 AD, King Aethelstan held a meeting of his councillors in a small church in Lifton, Devon. These early meetings of lords were known as witans.
Within a surviving charter from this meeting, we are provided with some extraordinary clues that point directly to a possible reality behind the Beowulf Manuscript.
Attached to the charter is an additional clause which sets out the boundaries for a grant of land being gifted to a man named Wulfgar. Within the text of the land clause, we are told to “Go eastward from Hammes to the boundary of Beow’s home” and later, that we should go to “Grendel’s Lake”.
The full contents of this book are the consequence of an astonishing chance discovery and a subsequent, deep investigation into these tantalising descriptions. Unexamined with any serious focus up to the present day, the evidence for the existence of Beowulf and his links to an isolated church in the South of England is, surprisingly, extremely extensive.
With extracts from translations of the Beowulf Manuscript by JRR Tolkien, Seamus Heaney, and Professor RD Fulk, this groundbreaking literary jigsaw puzzle will finally reveal many of the highly sought-after, unknown truths behind the ancient origins of Beowulf.
