The Seventh Buxton Spa Mystery. In August 1924, the match-winning success of the Buxton Croquet Club is threatened by false rumours, anonymous notes, and the resignations of its star players and a plant hunter is caught in a web of unrequited love and death. Eleanor Harriman, a solicitor in her father’s firm of Harriman & Talbot is asked to solve the puzzle and save reputations.
