£8.99
Actor, Ian Curtis, playing alongside his wife in Shakespeare’s Othello, discovers her body back-stage during a performance.
Sandy Steel, researching the so-called Marlovian theory for her thesis, was in the audience and offers to help Ian explore the suspicious circumstances of his wife’s death, given the police investigation has stalled. In return, and as a way of coping with grief, Ian reciprocates, helping Sandy in her quest to find if there is any substance in the idea that Christopher Marlowe wrote the plays attributed to Shakespeare.
The pair find intrigue, passion and danger, both in the past and present, in their mutual pursuit of answers.
